OUR HEALTH GUIDELINES

To protect the health of our patients and staff, ABA Bridges observes strict health guidelines. In accordance with the CDC and WHO, as well as with state and federal guidelines, we have put into place specific protocols as the COVID-19 crisis continues to develop. Additionally, we offer telehealth appointments so that our clients can observe distancing recommendations and reduce the risk of exposure.

Here’s what we are doing in our office to protect our clients:

  • Temperature checks before each client meeting
  • Face coverings at all times
  • Hand sanitizing before and after each client meeting
  • Ensuring sterilization of equipment used during meetings

From the CDC about COVID-19

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported. These symptoms range from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the coronavirus. People with the following symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing
  • Fatigue
  • New Loss of Taste or Smell
  • Sore Throat
  • Congestion or Runny Nose
  • Nausea or Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Muscle or Body Aches
  • Headaches

This list does not include all possible symptoms. The CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.

Maintaining Safe Therapy Settings

Given the above considerations, we ask that our clients take extra precautions. If you have been sick with a non-COVID illness, please reschedule your appointments until you have been asymptomatic or on antibiotics for at least 24 hours, or unless otherwise directed by your doctor.

If you or anyone in your household is experiencing COVID symptoms, you may resume services after you test negative for the virus. If, however, you or anyone in your household has been exposed, we ask you to come back after a 14-day quarantine with no symptoms. For clients that have tested positive, please contact us for more information.
